Date: January 24, 2019
Time: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM CST
Registration: Sorry, public registration for this event has been closed.
Event Description:
Lisa Hu is the founder of Lux & Nyx, www.luxandnyx.com, designer of luxury, eco-friendly, functional handbags for the modern woman.  The name Lux & Nyx comes from the Greek words meaning “light” and “night.” According to Hu, “It’s a representation of a transitional period, whether it’s a physical change in time or an analogy for life changes.” This transition was marked by Hu’s step out from the corporate board room to fashion entrepreneur and from product ideation to brand launch with over twenty products.
After spending over a decade in the corporate world at Sigma Aldrich and Aegion, and then launching her own business, Lisa understands the needs of on-the-go females because that’s who she was, it’s who she is and who she will be. Constantly on the go, she is passionate about designing products that help women do more and achieve more through innovative and functional designs without having to substitute function for luxury and vice versa.
